New Online Course: Mine Health and Safety - Powered Haulage Safety In Underground Mines
The fourth course in Elaine Cullen’s Mine Health and Safety series is now live! This is a training course for all mine personnel involved in underground mining.
It provides knowledge of specific hazards associated with powered haulage in underground mining, including identification of potentially hazardous situations, appropriate behavior around transportation, interpretation of transportation signage, and safety checks prior to operation of transportation.
While the mandates of the mining regulatory agencies are law in the US, they are also comprehensive enough to be considered best practice for mining in countries throughout the world.
