New Short Course: Turning Carbon Liabilities Into Profits For The Mining Industry

There is an ever-increasing need to prepare for and respond to incoming climate change policies. The risks are high and many key aspects remain poorly understood. Finding ways to deal with emissions reduction targets that are environmentally effective while economically feasible or beneficial is crucial.

This course, set in Vancouver on September 27th, aims to analyze issues surrounding greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions regulations in the mining industry. It will focus on finding ways to minimize risk and utilize opportunities as they relate to GHG regulations, technologies, and economic mechanisms such as offsets.
