New Online Course: Enterprise Facilitation : a Methodology for Sustainable Community Development in Mining

Edumine is pleased to present Enterprise Facilitation: a Methodology for Sustainable Community Development in Mining, a new online course from Ernesto Sirolli of Sirolli Institute. This short course serves as an introduction to Enterprise Facilitation®; a community development methodology whose aim is to assist local, self motivated entrepreneurs to transform their own ideas into viable enterprises.

The Enterprise Facilitation®  approach to local economic and community development focuses on the creation of a “parallel economy” in communities impacted by the extractive industry - an economy that may be inspired and sustained by the increased population and economic output of the mine but that is entrepreneurial in nature and focused on strengthening local capacity for wealth creation.
