EduMine’s Mariana Reinoso Achieves a Master of Educational Technology

Mariana ReinosoMariana Reinoso has been Manager of Educational Media for EduMine for eight years. She recently completed the requirements for the Master of Educational Technology program at the University of British Columbia and graduated on May 25.

Congratulations Mariana!

The Master of Educational Technology is a fully online program offered by the Faculty of Education at the University of British Columbia. The MET curriculum offers a holistic perspective on issues that impact the successful planning, development and delivery of e-learning.

MET graduates:

  • develop leadership capacities for the planning and management of learning technologies within their organization; and
  • gain a comprehensive understanding of the administrative, technological and cultural implications of implementing learning technologies, with specific attention to strategic planning, organizational models, budgeting, development approaches and organizational culture.

Mariana’s registration for the MET program was supported by the EduMine policy for professional development of employees, and keeping abreast of new educational technology to ensure the high quality of our online courses.

Simon Houlding was Vice-President of Professional Development for InfoMine Inc. He founded Edumine in 2000, and was responsible for this InfoMine division which provides learning and training programs to the global mining industry until 31 October 2017. He is a professional engineer and author.
