Edumine is proud to announce that Simon Houlding was awarded the Robert Elver Mineral Economics Award. This honour is presented as a mark of distinction and recognition to the person who has made a significant contribution to the mineral economics field in Canada.

Simon, co-founder of Edumine, received this prestigious award at Monday night’s gala dinner held at the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum (CIM) annual conference in Vancouver. The inscription reads:

In recognition of his many years of support to the industry and for helping countless people around the world with their career development through Edumine and InfoMine.

Edumine provided a platform for the promotion of Canadian mining technology and mining excellence around the world. Edumine is now the world’s largest provider of online professional development and training for mining. Simon retired in 2017.

Congratulations, Simon!
