Upcoming Webcast: Stereographic Projections

Stereographic ProjectionsGrazyna Chrobok’s live webcast, Stereographic Projections, will present the principles and applications of stereographic projection techniques commonly used in rock engineering to analyze geotechnical data and to determine the likelihood of rock mass failure induced by geological structures. The methodology of plotting, processing, and interpretation of geotechnical data for the purpose of stability analysis of rock slopes and underground excavations will be introduced in the context of various rock mass failure modes. The course is recommended as a prerequisite or refresher course for individuals interested in taking advanced courses in rock engineering, mine geotechnics and underground support design.

Stereographic Projections will take place 14 – 15 February 2013, and you can attend from everywhere! For more info or to register, see the course page. Register before January 11 to receive a 10% Early Bird discount!
